I enjoy poached eggs but had always been unsatisfied with my own attempts to poach them. Enter Poach Pods, a gift from my mom.
The photo’s not great, but the results are. I’ve used them three times in two weeks and love how well they contain the egg. The results look great, and with a little experimentation, you can figure out how long to cook the eggs for your desired texture/taste. 7-8 minutes in boiling water seems to work well if, like me, you like a yoke that’s more solid than liquid.
The instructions say you also can use them for individual flans, baked goods, and more. Time to start experimenting.
