Tonight I splurged on a Signature Tasting menu at Uchi Dallas (2817 Maple Ave). Six courses at the market price. All eloquently presented. All delicious.
My photos don’t do the meal justice, but I was focused on enjoying each dish in the moment. In addition to the tasting courses, I ordered an additional Kinoko Nigiri (it was so tasty!) and the Foie Gras Nigiri.
The menu is diverse enough that it would be easy to put together an à la carte selection catered to your tastes (and adventuresomeness). Nevertheless, I would be tempted by the Signature Tasting menu again if I were visiting another Uchi location – or the Chef’s Tasting if I were dining with others willing to try it.
(For this Sauvignon Blanc fan…) The server recommended the Dog Point Sauvignon Blanc, which paired well across the dishes.
