Herb Update
The kitchen herbs are coming along well. Unfortunately, I had to spray the parsley to deal with a bug infestation, so I can’t use the parsley for a few weeks. I’ll be cooking with all of these soon, though!

I have an herb garden in my backyard, but the promise of herbs at my finger tips while I’m cooking makes me smile. I purchased this kit (pots, soil, seeds, and chalk) at Lowes for about the same price as the seeds, if purchased separately. Looking forward to fresh herbs soon.

Since I used less than half of the spinach filling in my crepes, last night, I “recycled” the leftovers in tonight’s pasta dish. Peel and cube one medium sweet potato. Package in aluminum foil with a drizzle of olive oil and some freshly ground pepper and roast in a 350 degree oven for 20-30 minutes.
